Long ERG rows, out on the sea and paddle tennis

We are busy in the background, doing our day jobs and both training up to 2 hrs a day. We are doing a mix of very different things;

  • Weighted walks (carrying 20kgs on long walks)

  • Rowing on the ergs

  • Weight training

  • Ju jit su

  • Now and again getting out on the Menai Straits to learn to row on the actual sea

  • There has even been some paddle tennis done

All of this has been going on whilst Will has been tirelessly looking for sponsorship (and he’s done a great job securing some big names... more to follow). I’ve has been learning about boat electrics and his children have witnessed smoke coming from the garage whilst he learns to "re-wire" their Christmas presents which funnily enough don’t seem to be being returned to them.

The biggest news is that they hope to see ‘Lucy’ their boat at the back end of of march when she is returned from her first outing across the Atlantic.
